A unique microstructure
The secret to StoColor Lotusan is a unique, patented surface structure at the microscopic level, similar to the microstructure discovered on the leaf of the lotus plant. Combined with carefully selected materials, this prevents water and dirt from clinging to the surface.

Keeps the facade pristine for longer
Loose dirt will still accumulate on the surface during dry periods, but as soon as it rains then the dirt will be washed away, leaving a clean and dry facade.
Please note: Some water-borne/greasy deposits can cause staining, especially over detailing that can cause water to regularly drip onto the painted surface. It is therefore particularly important to ensure that cappings are used and that StoLotusan paint is only applied at 150mm above ground level to avoid ground water splashing.

Unsightly blue-green algae requires water and dirt to thrive and spread. By removing these two factors from the facade, StoColor Lotusan provides the best natural defense against this common problem.
